Description
Recent unruly energy crisis Ghana is facing and ways to control it, has led to the completion of an extensive literature search both in the specific field of research (energy systems) and specific topic of research (energy demand and supply matching), which revealed the gaps in literature leading to a proposed topic of research that seeks to embark on the development of a model for the prediction of domestic energy demand and usage in Ghana.
The aim of this work is to identify the gaps in literature with respect to the specific topic of research and consequently defining a research problem identified from the limitations and recommendations made for further research works. Specific objectives are then formulated, which include; analyzing the inadequacies of the existing practices and factors to arrive at demand and supply for domestic energy consumption in Ghana which stipulated the need to unveil the progress of energy supply and demand gap for domestic energy consumption in Ghana and ways to mitigate the existing gap.
