                <text>In the wake of the global pandemic (COVID-19) and restrictions on human-to-human contacts, higher education institutions have turned to e-learning as a solution to keep teaching and learning going. Indeed, aside from allowing the continuation of education during situations like that, the other argument supporting e-learning is because of its social constructivist pedagogy and effective self-regulated learning. However, the claim of self-regulated learning in the context of e-learning has not empirically been validated. Thus, based on responses from 116 individuals, using a mixed-method approach, we sought to evaluate the effect of the use of the Learning Management System on students' self-regulated learning. Our findings indicate that despite the advantages of convenience and access to materials provided, the system did not appear to regulate students learning with significant challenges of unreliable internet connectivity, lack of key functionalities and features ultimately impeding optimal use. The study discusses these findings and draws implications for theory and practice.</text>

                <text>This study investigated the perceptions, attitudes, and challenges of students&#13;
towards the adoption of e-learning as alternative teaching and learning&#13;
approach during the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the case of&#13;
the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) and the Ghana Communication&#13;
Technology University (GCTU). The purpose of the study was to investigate&#13;
and examine perceptions, attitudes, and challenges of students in the&#13;
adoption of e-learning as alternative teaching and learning during the&#13;
pandemic. The study adopted a purposive and random stratified sampling&#13;
technique to respond to hypothetical issues; that there is a significant&#13;
relationship between students’ perceptions, attitudes and challenges and the&#13;
adoption of e-learning in the COVID-19 crisis. From the perspective of the&#13;
students, findings include a lack of data bundles, online learning being&#13;
difficult and the unpreparedness of the institutions to adopt e-learning within&#13;
the first four weeks of the pandemic. The adoption of e-learning as&#13;
alternative learning in Tertiary institutions, in the wake of the COVID-19&#13;
pandemic, is quite novel and still evolving and educational institutions are&#13;
quite far from absolute transformation. </text>

                <text>Following the notion that transformational leadership is a solution to many leadership problems and creates valuable positive change in followers, this study examined emotional Intelligence as a precursor of transformational leadership among nursing professionals in Ghana. The overall as well as the individual effects of the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence on a leader’s exhibition of transformational leadership behavior were examined. Evidence of such links would be considerable for Ghanaian healthcare providers in their quest to find potential nurse leaders to train, so as not to dwell highly on the seniority criterion in the selection of leaders. Thus, 80 leaders and their corresponding subordinates were selected conveniently. A quantitative approach of research was used and a detailed statistical analysis revealed that, nurse leaders from the selected hospitals exhibited an average transformational leadership behavior. Also, others’ emotion appraisal, a subdimension of the emotional intelligence construct had the most variance in transformational leadership behavior. Based on the findings, when leaders are trained to be emotionally intelligent and the skills are fostered, they are more likely to exhibit transformational leadership behaviors which will further result in organizational effectiveness and follower satisfaction. Recommendations, Limitations and areas for further studies were discussed.</text>

                <text>Organizational researchers have proved that pre-tertiary education remains one of the most important foundations for a successful long-term educa-tional career. The overall purpose of the study was to analyze the digitalization of educational resources in pre-tertiary education in Ghana: assessing impact, challenges, and opportunities in enhancing learning outcomes. In view of this, the study employed the mixed method approach where data was collected from the 120 respondents who were selected using the stratified sampling techniques. The respondents comprised educators, teachers, and academic administrators in selected pre-tertiary institutions in Ghana. The authors collected data using both an interview guide for the qualitative aspect of the study and questionnaire for the quantitative aspect of the study. The study analyzed the quantitative data using SPSS, while thematic analysis was used to analyze the interview data collected from the field. Analysis showed that educational stakeholders were aware of the benefits of digitalization of educational resources in teaching and learning, however, the results showed that there was low level of implementation of digitalization of educational resources. The study also revealed that the digitalization of educational resources is plagued by some key challenges such as disparity of access, lack of technical support and maintenance, and infrastructure challenges. It was recommended that government needs a document that spells out the roil out of digitalization of educational resources in pre-tertiary institutions as well as providing training needs for teachers as well as academic administrators.</text>
