In assessing impact of growth, the research undertook a descriptive statistics evaluation of five key financial performance indicators and interpreted the outcome. The study first and foremost described the emergence of alternative exchanges in other jurisdictions across the globe specifically in Europe, Asia and other African countries in a bid to resolve challenges SMEs or small businesses face in assessing funds from the capital market to finance their operations. Further, an overview of SMEs and the important role they play in economic development of nations was also highlighted citing access to finance as a major constraint they face. Theoretical and empirical review of literature related to this thesis were also evaluated and research gaps pointed out. To satisfy the research hypothesis of whether or not the GAX has had any effect on the growth of Izwe Loans, this study adopted both trend analysis to examine the trends in the financial performance of Izwe Loans and repeated measure multivariate analysis of variance (one-way rMANOVA) to estimate the model. From the trend analysis, it was found that, Izwe Loans recorded its lowest figures in 2014 having recorded fluctuating figures in 2012 and 2013. Three of the five performance indicators examined however began to rise steadily in 2015 and 2016. Inferring from the descriptive statistics results, only two ratios return on asset and return on equity recorded any significant improvement in financial performance post the GAX listing. The other three indicators, Net Interest Margin, Operating Profit Margin and Net Profit Margin did not post any significant improvement after the GAX listing. The conclusion of the study was that, the GAX has had some positive impact on Izwe Loans in terms of ROE and ROA but further studies on the GAX and listed SMEs need to carried when more data is available to re-assess its impact on the listed companies. Today cloud computing has been hyped as a feature technology that is being adopted by SMEs and larger corporate organizations as a major enabler of business functions. Although this new paradigm is considered to be in its developmental stages, the recorded benefits have invariable challenged the traditional aspects of computing services among enterprises. This study seeks to encourage the adoption and utilization of cloud technologies for business operations and data sharing among NGOs. More specifically, the study sought to investigate the levels of adoption and utilization of cloud services among various NGOs, benefits and risks that implementers of this technology are likely to encounter in its implementation as well as industry’s practices for mitigating these risks. The results of the study showed that although most individuals alluded to being familiar with the concept of cloud computing, the levels of adoption and utilization of the technology among the larger NGO community was found to be low. From perusal of literary sources, it was also established that cloud adopters spend less on IT architectures that suit their business needs through rapid and easy provisioning of these service, flexibility in scaling up or down IT resources, disaster recovery, data security as well as increased productivity through collaboration. Cloud computing’s risks pertinent to data security, confidentiality, availability; service level agreements, segregation and reliability were also recognized. In conclusion, the study recommends further sensitization and education about cloud computing’s benefits to encourage its adoption and use by NGOs. A content validated questionnaire and interview sections were used to seek relevant information from appropriate facility managers and scheme managers who matter in the NHIS. The study employed descriptive research as its research design. The target population for the study was 134 government and private hospitals sampled from about 250 government and private hospitals within Accra and Tema Metropolis. The researcher adopted purposive and simple random sampling techniques to sample the target population which comprise of clinics, Polyclinics and Primary Hospital, Secondary Hospitals, Tertiary Hospital, Pharmacies and the Research, Policy and Monitoring and Evaluation Directorate of the NHIS. Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) was used to analyze data collected and findings presented via descriptive analysis and bar chat, tables, pie chat and figures. The main findings of the study established that, G-DRG was introduced under the NHIS system as a best approach for sustainable healthcare financing under the NHIS system and also, the mediating factor for universal healthcare coverage is to ensure efficient use of resources, improved pooling coupled with resource mobilization. Finally the study observed that, financial sustainability of the scheme was a challenge to the scheme.
