Three hypotheses were generated for the study. The respondents of the study were the Year II NCE Mathematics/Computer students of Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku, Rivers State in 2009/2010 academic session. The respondents were given pre-test and post-test in Probability Performance Test (PPT), Mathematics Attitude Scale (MAS) and Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale (MARS). The results were tested for significance using t-test statistics for dependent and Independent samples. No significant difference was recorded in the affective attitudinal dimension and anxiety levels of the students. A remarkable significant difference was recorded in the behavioural, cognitive attitudinal dimensions and academic performance of the respondents. The use of PIMs was found to have increased their achievement and reduced their Mathematics anxiety level. Implications of the findings were discussed and appropriate recommendations were made.
