                <text>The study used both qualitative and quantitative method of data collection and analysis, in the form of questionnaire as means of gathering data to answer the research topic that seeks to assess leadership styles and on employee performance, using 97 respondents of the Nobel International Business School. This was obtained using multiple regression analysis.&#13;
The primary objective of this study is to assess leadership styles and on employee performance. Specifically to evaluate the underlined different types of leadership and its impact on employee performance at Nobel International Business School. The importance of leadership styles on the organizational survival of Nobel International Business School was assessed and different types of leadership styles were evaluated based on their impact on the productivity of employees in the School. The descriptive statistics were categorized under Gender, Age, Educational Level, Department (Position Category) and Years of work. Four main leadership styles were assessed and they are Charismatic Leadership, Autocratic Leadership, Laissez-Faire Leadership and Democratic Leadership.&#13;
The results shows that charismatic leadership had a positive and significant relationship with employee performance at a 5% level of significance. In contrast, the results obtained suggested that, there was a positive but insignificant relationship between autocratic leadership style and employee performance.&#13;
In a summary, the multiple regression analysis shows that, the charismatic leadership style exhibited by supervisors positively impacted on employee performance. If supervisors exhibited more charismatic leadership, the employees will have higher employee performance. As predicted, this result supported hypothesis 1</text>

                <text>The need for air condition companies to implement lean in the delivery of services is one that cannot be overlooked. Growth in any industry is linked to satisfaction given to customers of that&#13;
industry. The key to maintaining a competitive advantage in service delivery can be attributed to the implementation of lean techniques and principles. This study assesses lean implementation in the after sales service of the air condition&#13;
industry using Cold Temperatures Limited as a case study. This assessment is done by applying lean techniques and principles in the minimization of waste. A brief background of lean principles and techniques by various authors is presented which includes both empirical and theoretical review of the literature.&#13;
Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were used. Observations were done and questionnaires administered randomly to active customers of Cold Temperatures Limited&#13;
after calculating the sample size using Yamane’s (1967) formula. Furthermore, data collection was done by walking the shop floor and recording the processing and lead times for service delivery.&#13;
SPSS and Excel were used to generate tables and charts which helped in analysing data obtained and also identify the wastes within the company. The Pareto chart and cause and effect&#13;
diagram were also used to analyse the causes of the wastes in Cold Temperatures Limited. The takt time was calculated after drawing the current state of Cold Temperatures Limited with the&#13;
value stream map. This helped in the determination of the pace of service delivery. A future state map was then drawn indicating the improvement needed areas after which lean technique was&#13;
applied in the minimization of the wastes identified.&#13;
In conclusion, the researcher observed the service delivery of Cold Temperatures Limited&#13;
to be poor due to several factors and therefore recommended the maintenance and delivery&#13;
preparation departments to be joined together in order to eliminate the waste of motion between&#13;
these departments.</text>

The concept of cloud services is to enable enterprises to cut spending on setting up various IT infrastructures and instead focus its investments on core business needs. A research model was developed to investigate the vulnerabilities associated with confidentiality of cloud computing, how it has improved business processes in the banking industry and how the various security solutions are impacting of cloud computing technology.The study focused on three (3) major factors i.e.&#13;
I. vulnerabilities of cloud based systems,&#13;
II. security solutions for the technology and&#13;
III. the potential business benefits of applying cloud applications in banking. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology Model (UTAUT), the perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) were used as the research framework which formed the basis for conducting a survey to gather data on cloud computing technology. A questionnaire based survey was carried out and thirty-three (33) out of the expected fifty (50) feedbacks were received from various respondents. The results however asserted that despite the growth and security solutions of cloud computing, banking institutions are not adopting and using the technology as a core banking systems due to the perceived vulnerabilities which pose security threats to sensitive banking data and clients information.                 <text>This study is conducted to assess the effect of financial risk on profitability of five commercial banks listed at the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). Profitability was proxied by ROA and served as the dependent variable in the research model. Capital risks proxied by total capital to risk weighted assets, Liquidity risk measured by current ratio, and Credit risk proxied by nonperforming loan to total loans were adopted as indicators of financial risk. They also served as the independent variables in the study while bank size which is a control variable was measured using natural log of total assets (Ln Assets). Secondary data obtained from the financial statements and annual reports of the chosen banks were the predominant source of data for the analysis. The data covered a five year period (2012-2016). Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and regression analysis were respectively performed on the obtained data. The Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS) software was used for the data analysis. The study found from the correlation analysis that a negative but statistically significant linear association exists between profitability and bank size (r=-.014, p=0.024); profitability and capital risk (r=-0.038, p=0.011); and profitability and credit risk (r=-0.124, p=0.013). The relationship between liquidity risk and profitability was positive and statistically significant as shown by an r and p values of 0.037 and 0.021 respectively. This implies that the banks were able to manage this risk in such a way that it tends out to positively affect their profitability. The correlation results were further supported by the regression coefficient results which recorded a negative relationship between profitability and capital risk, credit risk and bank size. The relationship between profitability and liquidity risk is however positive. The result further revealed a significant effect of all the independent variables on profitability.</text>

                <text>The concept and definition of leadership style may differ from one person, or situation, to the other. The word “leadership” has been used in various aspects of human endeavor such as politics, businesses, academics, social works, etc. Previous views about leadership show it as personal ability. Messick &amp; Kramer,(2011) argued that the degree to which the individual exhibits leadership traits depends not only on his characteristics and personal abilities, but also on the characteristics of the situation and environment in which he finds himself. Among the objectives of any small enterprise are profit making and attainment of maturity and liquidity status. In the pursuit of these objectives, enterprises allocate scarce resources to competing ends. In this regard the objective of this study was to evaluate the relationship between leadership and organizational performance. For the purpose of the study, transactional and transformational leadership were the main focus. The study used 10 SMEs which include 5 small scale enterprises and 5 medium scale enterprises excluding manufacturing enterprises. It was found in the study that leadership plays a key role in organizational performance. The study revealed that though both transactional and transformational leadership plays a key role in organizational performance, transformational leadership is more effective on organizational performance than that of transactional leadership.</text>

                <text>Corporate governance establishes a structure for evaluating organizational activities so that actions or work processes can be measured in a more formal and transparent manner, so that real situational reasoning can also be drawn. At the same time, corporate governance is also a means to implement these organizational principles and monitor performance through an effective board of directors. High-quality corporate governance has now become a common concern in the business community. In the past decade, "good corporate governance" has been incorporated into the healthcare industry as a factor to improve performance. The primary goal of sound corporate governance is to improve corporate performance, enhance institutional accountability, and avoid major disasters. This study uses the Ghanaian health industry as a case study to study the impact of corporate governance on organizational performance. The researcher focused on Ghana because it is the only country in Africa that has consistently implemented a universal health insurance policy since 2004. After designing a descriptive research plan, the researcher conducted a set of designed pre-coded questionnaires to 1,500 respondents in 10 regional (provincial) hospitals across the country. The primary data used in the study came from the financial statements, board documents, and other statistical information of the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service. Multiple regression, logistic regression, and structural equation modeling methods were used to analyze the impact of corporate governance on organizational performance. The impact of corporate governance on organizational performance was predicted using primary and secondary data. The empirical investigation provided in this study shows that there is a positive relationship between corporate governance and performance. Since corporate governance provides a structure to confirm the goals and objectives of an organization, it is important for institutions to focus on good corporate practices that are effective in achieving improved performance. Nonetheless, the key to governance lies in the application of a reliable and achievable integrated governance system that drives the achievement of the set goals. Corporate governance encompasses the management of all the resources of an organization, which should be considered as limited, and accountability becomes the epitome of corporate governance. These resources can be financial, human, natural, social or environmental resources that make the organization sustainable in a competitive market. Achieving good corporate governance helps companies implement sustainability strategies throughout the business processes, managing goal setting and reporting. This stipulates that corporate governance maintains a culture where good relationships among stakeholders contribute optimistically to the goals of the organization. However, users are reluctant to patronize these online sites due to the lack of trust. While literature is inundated with numerous B2B and B2C e-commerce studies, little is known about C2C ecommerce. Thus, our study contributes to the e-commerce literature, seeking to extend knowledge by integrating the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model with the Initial Trust Model (ITM) to explore user adoption of C2C e-commerce in an emerging market. Data was collected from 193 university students who have had some experience with some Ghanaian C2C websites and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares approach to Struc-tural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Results from the model showed that Performance Expectancy had the most significant effect on Behavioral Intention, followed by Trust. Behavioral Intention was also found to significantly predict Actual Usage. In all, our model accounted for about 51% of the variability in Actual Use. The proposed model is useful in understanding trust in the C2C context. Results from this work could inform strategies to be taken by these C2C websites to attract visitors to such websites.</text>

                <text>The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) mandated by a law in Ghana is to provide employment and employment opportunities for the youth in Ghana. The initial implementation of its activities saw a manual paper based information system, later an online Beneficiary Management System (BMIS) was introduced. This research work was conducted to evaluate the BMIS of the Youth Employment Agency of Ghana. An aspect of the research was to determine the impact of the use of the BMIS on the operations and activities of the Agency from the users and stakeholders’ perspective in comparison with previous systems. The other main area was to determine the level of understanding of the BMIS by the users and the derived benefits. The survey method of research was adopted during this research. The research showed that the successful implementation of the adopted BMIS of the Youth Employment Agency as public institution was largely dependent on the processes adopted in the usage, the level of understanding of the system, the level at which it has been implemented and the benefits realized since its implementation. Additionally, the research also showed that, for effective implementation of the BMIS of YEA, there is the need for well trained and equipped users with tools and logistics to enable them proactively perform their functions in line with the vision and mission of the Youth Employment Agency.&#13;
The population of the study is the entire 216 district officers and selected managers of the Youth Employment Agency. These people were identified as the direct users and mangers of the YEA BMIS. In collecting data, questionnaires were administered and interviews were conducted as well. Not all the expected population responded to the questionnaires.&#13;
