Following recent calls for partner institutions to address the seeming weaknesses in transnational education (TNE) delivery especially in host institutions, this article was developed to generate new insights into how student engagement could explain perceived gains in TNE in a host university in Ghana.&#13;
Design/methodology/approach&#13;
A quantitative research design was used to gather and analyse data from students (n = 197) who were enrolled in different masters' programmes with three different TNE partners from Europe. We relied on a survey to collect data from participants who were sampled by way of simple random sampling method. Consequently, the data was analysed using structural equation modelling.&#13;

                <text>Advances in information, communication, technology (ICT) particularly the internet is driving universities worldwide into integrating technology into teaching and learning in the classrooms. Ready access to multimedia learning platforms are encouraging faculty members to move away from traditional print-based and face-to-face teaching approach into adopting blended learning. However, insufficient learner satisfaction has been noted as an obstacle in most universities. In view of this, this paper assesses the learning experience of students within a blended learning environment in a Higher Education Institution (HEIs) in Ghana Technology University College (GTUC). The driving force for this study is to enhance students’ learning experience with the use of technology within a blended learning environment. The Learning Management System (LMS) adapted to engage students within the blended learning environment is Moodle. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative methods to measure the students’ learning experience. A total of 244 respondents from three different faculties and levels offering bachelors and master’s degree were used. The study employed simple descriptive analysis and thematic analysis to measure the student's learning experience within the blended learning environment.                 <text>Advances in information, communication, technology (ICT) particularly the internet is driving universities worldwide into integrating technology into teaching and learning in the classrooms. Ready access to multimedia learning platforms are encouraging faculty members to move away from traditional print-based and face-to-face teaching approach into adopting blended learning. However, insufficient learner satisfaction has been noted as an obstacle in most universities. In view of this, this paper assesses the learning experience of students within a blended learning environment in a Higher Education Institution (HEIs) in Ghana Technology University College (GTUC). The driving force for this study is to enhance students’ learning experience with the use of technology within a blended learning environment. The Learning Management System (LMS) adapted to engage students within the blended learning environment is Moodle. The study employed both qualitative and quantitative methods to measure the students’ learning experience. A total of 244 respondents from three different faculties and levels offering bachelors and master’s degree were used. The study employed simple descriptive analysis and thematic analysis to measure the student's learning experience within the blended learning environment. The impression from the findings indicates that the online learning engagements enhanced the face-to-face teaching and learning and also increased retention and performance among the students.                 <text>Implementing blended/online learning comes with its benefits and challenges. The study looked into students’ perceptions of blended learning in a Health Training School in Ghana. Qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques were used to examine the perceptions of trainee at the Ho Nursing Training College. Two theoretical models were used in this research. These are the technology acceptance model which predicts the perceived usefulness of the system and the perceived ease of use and the Delone and McLean’s IS success model which seeks to measure dependent variables like the system quality, information quality, use, user satisfaction, individual impact and organizational impact. The findings suggest that, students’ perception of blended/ online learning is influenced by the use of the online platform for studying whiles using the traditional face-to-face learning as well. Majority of the students are of the perception that, blended/online learning is very effective and that it has helped in improving their academic performance. But then, lack of stable internet and personal computers are some of the reason why the students are unwilling to patronize online learning. It also delved into the benefits and challenges of implementing blended/online learning. Also, the factors to consider when deploying the system were looked into. The study adds to literature by contributing to knowledge on the implementation of blended/online learning. The research model offers an opportunity to examine how suitable existing conditions are for the implementation of blended/online learning.&#13;

Data on 26 CSFs and 16 success criteria were collected from key stakeholders across Ghana through a questionnaire survey. The data was then analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM).
