                <text>Cette étude a examiné les problèmes rencontrés par les étudiants qui ont étudié le français langue étrangère à travers les TIC dans une Université au Ghana. L'étude a adopté une approche d'enquête quantitative en administrant un questionnaire en ligne aux étudiants de premier cycle de l'université et en analysant les données à l'aide de statistiques descriptives. 550 étudiants ont participé à l'étude. Les résultats ont montré que la majorité des étudiants estiment que l’utilisation des TIC dans l’apprentissage du français langue étrangère est liée à de nombreux problèmes. Selon les étudiants, les problèmes liés à l’utilisation des TIC sont: la mauvaise connexion d’internet (46%), l’inaccessibilité à l'internet (17%), la panne régulière de courant (16%), les apprenants manquent de compétences technologiques (11%), pas de fourniture d'électricité (5%) et certains instructeurs n’ont aucune connaissance technologique,(5%). Sur la base des résultats de cette étude, certaines mesures pédagogiques pratiques telles que l'autonomisation de chaque foyer sur le plan technologique, et l'amélioration de l'accessibilité à l’internet dans tout le pays ont été proposées.</text>

                <text>The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between leverage and the financial performance of non-financial firms listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE). Panel data extracted from the audited and published annual reports of the Ghana Oil Company Ltd, Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd, Starwin Products Ltd, Camelot Ghana Ltd, Aluworks Ltd, Clydestone Ghana Ltd, African Champion Industries Ltd, Benson Oil Palm Plantation Ltd, Fan Milk Ltd, Guinness Ghana Breweries Ltd, Unilever Ghana Ltd, PZ Cussons Ghana Ltd, Produce Buying Company Ltd, Mechanical Lloyd Company Ltd and Sam Woode Ltd for the period 2008 to 2017 was used for the study. Both the descriptive and inferential techniques of data analysis were employed for the study. In the descriptive technique of data analysis, the mean, standard deviation, variance, minimum and maximum values, range, skewness and kurtosis of the study’s variables were analysed; whilst the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficient technique of data analysis was employed to establish the bivariate associations between leverage and the firms’ financial performance as measured by ROA, ROE and ROCE (inferential analysis). All the data analysis were conducted through the use of STATA version 15 statistical software package at an alpha (α) level of 5%(p≤ 0.05).                 <text>The purpose of this study is to explore the complexity of the lexical bundles and/or formulaic patterns in Law texts, create a corpus of authentic formulaic patterns in law and propose a workable method for identifying and teaching the types and function of law lexical and formulaic bundles in the academic writing classroom. The study adopts corpus linguistic approach to investigate the patterns in the Law students’ texts. The study used 792,237 corpus size. The routine of the types and functions of formulaic patterns and the multiword in Law subject areas found on a virtual learning platform were analysed. This procedure revealed brief prevailing six-word lexical formulaic patterns from Law texts. The discussion from the outcome of this search for extensively used formulaic patterns in Law leads to a consideration of challenges in formulaic pattern or multiword patterns data into English for academic writing in the law discipline in tertiary institutions. The challenges lead to suggestions for the instructors in the law faculties to engage their students in working with word lists made up of formulaic categorisations in law. The study provided formulaic patterns that are particularly useful for lecturers and Law students in the academic writing classroom in the Law faculties.</text>

                <text>This paper reports on changing inter-generational relations among long-term Liberian refugees in the Buduburam settlement camp in Ghana. Four months of fieldwork were conducted in the settlement, using a range of qualitative methods to elicit emic understandings of the nature and causes of changes in inter-generational relations: focus groups, individual interviews, participant observation, and diary-keeping by refugees. Various aspects of the refugee experience, in particular the strategies used by young people to cope with long-term livelihood insecurity, are seen by camp inhabitants to have led to a reconfiguration of relationships between older and younger people and even to the blurring of generational categories.
