                <text>Globally, banks are deploying reliant data protection technologies to secure business continuity. However, information security attackers leverage on employees seldom predisposition to compromise firms' assets. The study therefore examines attributing factors influencing information security compliance behavior in the Ghanaian banking sector. A survey design approach was adopted to validate the research model. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) were used to analyze 329 valid data. The model results showed that perceived threat, vulnerability, response cost, and efficiency had a significant effect on compliance but interestingly not for Self-Efficacy. Perceived threat severity had the most significant effect on IS compliance behavior. Overall, our model accounted for 60% of the variation in IS compliance.</text>

The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between transformational leadership, knowledge management capabilities, organizational learning, and innovation performance in the context of higher education institutions.&#13;
Design/methodology/approach&#13;
Using a survey research design, data was collected from 219 respondents, comprising faculty and administrative staff from two public and five private universities in Ghana. The data were analyzed by using the partial least squares approach to structural equation modeling with the use of Smart PLS software.&#13;

                <text>An understanding of postgraduate students’ choice criteria for universities selection is essential&#13;
for marketing higher education, securing the long-term success of the universities, as well as&#13;
its marketing strategy. While previous studies have focused on developed countries and&#13;
undergraduate students, this chapter explores factors influencing postgraduate students’&#13;
decision making. The study recognises that the rapid expansion of the enrolment of&#13;
undergraduates has also stimulated students’ enthusiasm for postgraduate studies and&#13;
importantly, postgraduate students have prior experience in a university service environment&#13;
(compared to undergraduate students). The semi-structured interview was conducted with firstyear postgraduate students at a private university in South-West, Nigeria. Some of the&#13;
participants were new to the university while some did their undergraduate studies there.&#13;
Findings from the study revealed four key factors which are the desire to study for a&#13;
postgraduate degree, the facilities of the University, including its geographical location, the&#13;
courses on offer and influence of other stakeholders like parents, siblings and friends. This&#13;
influence of stakeholders aligns with the fundamental values in a collectivist culture like&#13;
Nigeria. This study contributes to literature on higher education marketing, especially in Africa&#13;
and for postgraduate students. The chapter presents an integral insight into marketing higher&#13;
education in Nigeria and Africa, as this is an under-researched area.</text>

                <text>The factors affecting students’ choice of higher education is essential for the university’s&#13;
management. Various research across the world has been carried out to understand how students&#13;
select their preferred universities for tertiary study; however, there is a shortage of insight from&#13;
an African perspective. Specifically focusing on a federal university in Nigeria, this study aims&#13;
to explore factors influencing students’ interest in the school and why they selected it as their&#13;
study location. A structured questionnaire from 282 undergraduate students based on stratified&#13;
random sampling was used to understand these choice factors. The study found that personal&#13;
interest greatly influenced students’ decisions, followed by parental influence, university&#13;
reputation, university ranking, and fees. The results provide an understanding of students’&#13;
choices for universities in a Nigerian context, which is a loose representation of the general&#13;
influences of students’ choice for study sites on the continent. This would enable stakeholders&#13;
working in the Nigerian education sector including academics, administrators and practitioners&#13;
and international collaborators to understand the most effective ways to reach out to prospective&#13;

The purpose of this paper is to explore how lecturers in both public and private universities in Ghana are motivated to take up teaching as a career using Herzberg’s two-factor theory.&#13;
Design/methodology/approach&#13;
In this paper, qualitative research design was adopted. Data were collected from 24 lecturers from both public and private universities in Ghana and analysed with NVivo.&#13;
Findings&#13;
Results from the analysis indicate that public sector university lecturers are generally better motivated than their counterparts at the private sector. Workload is higher at private universities, affecting research and publications negatively. The study also revealed that there are differences in motivation in relation to the hygiene factors between the public and private university teachers.&#13;

                <text>The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that affect the awareness and usage of digital addressing systems in Ghana. Extant research about electronic government services in&#13;
general have unfortunately ignored using a multidimensional theoretical approach to studying the issue. In this regard, this study conceptualised and used the technology organisation environment framework as a multidimensional tool to study the factors that would influence citizens’ awareness and usage of the digital addressing system in Ghana. Further, this study&#13;
used structural equation modelling technique to analyse quantitative survey data collected from two hundred (200) respondents with respect to their technological, organisational,&#13;
environmental and human or cognitive contexts. The factors identified as influencing behavioural intention to adopt digital addressing systems are perceived technical capability,&#13;
usability, and perceived organisational readiness. In addition, only security and privacy were found to affect actual usage, confirming the importance of these two factors to citizens’ in&#13;
their uptake of electronic government services. This study holds significance for research, practice and policy. With respect to research, this study is arguably the first to extend the&#13;
technology organization environment framework to studying the adoption of digital addressing systems. With respect to practice, this theory has proposed several practice guidelines that the custodian of Ghana’s digital addressing system could follow in ensuring successful uptake of the new system. For instance, the institution should consider developing the technical competences of its staff in order to provide help to citizens’ and possibly developers who may create new services to interface with the digital addressing system</text>
